Mr. Myles Kifner


Mr. Myles Kifner – Music Director & Conductor

Mr. Myles Kifner serves as the Music Director and Conductor of the West Seneca Town Band.

He is the Director of Bands at Eden Middle and High School, where he leads the Junior High Band (grades 7–8) and the Senior High Band (grades 9–12).

A proud graduate of Eden Central School District (Class of 2014), Mr. Kifner currently resides in Hamburg, NY.

In addition to directing curricular ensembles, he serves as the advisor for the Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA), the director of the Pit Orchestra, and the director of the Jazz Ensemble.

Mr. Kifner holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Fredonia State University, where he studied trombone under Mr. Carl Mazzio and Mr. Jonathan Lombardo, as well as a Master of Music in Music Education from Buffalo State University.

Before returning to Eden, he taught in several districts across Western New York, including

Cleveland Hill UFSD, Springville-Griffith Institute CSD, Pembroke CSD, and Lyndonville CSD.

Beyond his passion for music education and conducting, Mr. Kifner enjoys cooking, hiking, kayaking, cycling, cross-country skiing, and spending time with family and friends.

He is an active member of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME), the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA), the New York State Band Directors Association (NYSBDA), and the Erie County Music Educators Association (ECMEA).
